From the oldest planting on the estate, the 1979 vines on the top of the slope. A dozen years in bottle have carried the colour to garnet: less blue, more orange, the chroma quietly falling as the wine trades brightness for depth.
A small release each year from the library, sold mostly to the people who come to the tastings.
