Visiting

Do I need to book a tasting?: For tours and lunches, yes: groups are small and weekends fill two to three weeks ahead. For the counter tasting you can walk in, but a booking guarantees your slot on a Saturday.
Can children and dogs come?: Both are welcome on the terrace and the vineyard walk. Under-18s join the tour free with a grape juice from our own Pinot, and there is a water bowl by the barn door.
Is the vineyard walk steep?: The slope rises about 40 metres over a mile of grass track. Wear flat shoes. If anyone in your group would rather not walk, tell us and we drive them up in the estate buggy.
What if it rains?: The tour runs in light rain with estate umbrellas. In a downpour we swap the slope for a longer cellar visit, and lunch moves into the barn. We only cancel for storms, with a full refund.

How fast is delivery?: Orders placed by 1pm Monday to Thursday arrive the next working day anywhere in mainland Britain. Delivery is £7.95, or free on 12 bottles or more.
Can I mix a case?: Yes. Any six bottles earn 5% off and any twelve earn 10%, across still and sparkling. Club members add their own discount on top.
What if a bottle is corked?: Send us a photo of the cork and the bottle within a year of delivery and we replace it or refund it, whichever you prefer. You never need to post it back.
Do you sell to restaurants and shops?: We supply around 30 independent restaurants and wine shops within 60 miles. Trade prices and allocations are on request through the contact page.

How does the wine club work?: You pick a case size and we send it each quarter, in March, June, September and December. We choose the wines; you can swap any of them for others before it ships.
Can I pause or leave?: Pause for a quarter or leave at any time by email, as long as it reaches us before the 1st of the shipping month. There is no minimum term and no exit fee.
What do members get at the cellar door?: Free tastings for the member and a guest on every visit, 20% off tours and lunches, and first choice of library and magnum releases before they go on sale.

The cellar door is the quickest way to answer most questions, and the tasting fee comes back when you buy six.
