About this wine

Coombe Rosé is Classic Cuvée’s summer sister. It is built mostly on Pinot Noir, with Pinot Meunier for softness, and takes its colour the traditional English way: a small amount of our own still Pinot Noir blended in before the second fermentation.

That method lets us set the colour exactly, a pale onion-skin pink, and keeps the wine dry. What you taste is fruit, not sugar: wild strawberry and redcurrant, with a grapefruit edge that keeps it lively.

It is the most requested wine for weddings at the cellar door. For orders of 36 bottles or more, ask us about a case price and a disgorgement batch reserved for your date.

“We came for the hour-long tasting and stayed three. The Classic Cuvée is better than the Champagne we brought to our wedding, at half the price.”
