About this wine

Our still rosé is made from Pinot Noir picked a little earlier than the fruit for the reds, when the acidity is at its brightest. The grapes go straight to the press and the juice sits on the skins for only a few hours: just long enough for the pale copper colour and a hint of raspberry.

It is fermented cool and bottled early, the spring after harvest, to keep it fresh. It is a wine for the first warm weekend of the year and the last one, and very good with the charcuterie we serve at the cellar door.

“We came for the hour-long tasting and stayed three. The Classic Cuvée is better than the Champagne we brought to our wedding, at half the price.”
Harriet P., Winchester, after a cellar-door tasting
